XR5SL & XR5FC Firmware Version 104 Update

Firmware Update Effective January 25, 2001, all XR5SL and XR5FC Commercial Fire panels are being shipped from the factory with version 104 (1/24/01) firmware. This version is an update from the 104 (12/22/00) firmware previously shipped and contains updated operation.

Updated Operation 692F Sensor Reset When a sensor reset is performed from a 692F LED keypad, any red alarm LED that is on because of a zone alarm now turns off. Previously, the sensor reset had to be performed from an LCD keypad to turn off the alarm LED.

Upgrading/Ordering New Firmware New firmware PROMs may be obtained by calling Customer Service at 1-800-641-4282 and ordering the XR5/UPDATE. The cost is $2.00 for each firmware update PROM.
