XR200 & XR2400F Firmware Version 108 Update

Firmware Update

Effective January 9, 2001, all XR200 and XR2400F Command Processor panels are being shipped from the factory with version 108 (1/9/01) firmware. This version is an update from the 108 (12/27/00) firmware previously shipped and contains updated operation.

Updated Operation

¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ IMPORTANT UPDATE INFORMATION ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬DD Communication to SCS-1 Receiver The XR200 and XR2400F communicates to the DMP SCS-1 on the first attempt. Previously, on some phone systems, the panel may have required subsequent attempts to communicate.Note: This problem only appears on panels with firmware version 108 (12/27/00). Also, this problem does not occur on panels programmed to communicate CID or M2E.

DMP highly recommends that panels purchased after January 1, 2001 that contain firmware version 108 (12/27/00) be updated to firmware version 108 (1/9/01).

Upgrading/Ordering New Firmware

New firmware PROMs may be obtained by calling Customer Service at 1-800-641-4282 and ordering the XR200/UPDATE or XR2400F/UPDATE. The cost is $2.00 for each firmware update PROM.
