Version200Header

Your strongest communication link comes with a Version 200 upgrade for the XR100/XR500

Without a reliable communication link to the central station, the most sophisticated alarm system available is useless. Solid communications with multi-layered backups should be a vital part of any alarm system. DMP has taken a major step toward ensuring that every message transmitted by our alarm panels is successfully received by the central station, and that your customers are realizing the full protection potential of your system.

The DMP XR100/XR500 Command Processor Panels have been greatly improved with the release of Version 200 software. A reliable security performer has been elevated to the next level of performance by transitioning from a dialer-focused communications approach to a true network communications approach.  Additional features have been combined with simplified programming to make the Version 200 the best choice for even more applications.

Simplified programming

We listened to dealers and installers, and expanded the power and features of the XR100/XR500 with new capabilities, extending the already long list of features on the industry's first integrated burglary/fire/access control panel with built-in Ethernet communications.

All of these features and functions are now in a more logical, flexible and easy-to-use interface. Commonly used functions are more readily accessed and simpler to use. Configuring and maintaining the XR100/XR500 is now easier than ever.

Up to eight communication paths

There are numerous ways to create communication links between your panel and the central station. We refer to the various communications links as "paths" and the XR100/XR500 enables you to create, configure and manage up to eight paths.

Your panel could be programmed to send NET communications to a Central Station receiver as a primary path and over NET to a different Central Station receiver as another primary path. You could also send fire alarms via digital dial to a third Central Station receiver and over GPRS to a backup Central Station receiver, with RS-232 to a DVR integration, for a total of five paths. Each path has its own panel communication programming parameters.

Each path can be programmed as a primary or backup, offering even more flexibility. And with eight available paths, you can configure reliable communications that will give you the confidence that your panel will always be connected to the central station, with no missed signals.

Adaptive technology speeds messaging

The DMP exclusive Adaptive Technology shortens potential check-ins delays. If a current communication path becomes unavailable, Adaptive Technology directs the panel to make a seamless transition from one communications path to another. Because the switchover happens within milliseconds of the previous path becoming unavailable, no check-in or supervision messages will be missed. This allows a system to be fully supervised when one communication path is bad, while minimizing expensive cell traffic when all paths are good.

463G Digital Cellular Communicator*

DMP provided a highly valuable new communication option with the 463G Digital Cellular Communicator. This plug-in addition to the XR500 enables installers to quickly create a cellular communications link as either a primary or backup path to the central station.

XR500 v200 was created specifically to enable this new cellular capability. The Version 200 upgrade works seamlessly with the 463G, adding cellular communications capability along with many other features and programming improvements.
