MyAccess™ and Virtual Keypad™ Enable Multiple Remote Features
The DMP booth (#24049) at ISC West will feature new opportunities for security system dealers to cash in on the tidal wave of end-user demand for mobile features. Booth visitors can experience mobile access with MyAccess and the Virtual Keypad app. The booth will also include many of the popular DMP panels and products that support mobile capabilities.
“Smart phones and tablets have opened the door to an incredible range of remote capabilities,” said Vice President of Sales, Mark NeSmith. “End users want to do more with those devices, and DMP is making that possible by providing the tools for them to connect remotely with their alarm systems. Giving end users additional ways to interact with their systems by incorporating new features like home control increases the perceived value of the security system. That helps build a more lasting and profitable relationship between system owners and system providers.”
The mobile capabilities being demonstrated at ISC West include:
MyAccess – Let users remotely manage residential or commercial alarm systems via text message on any type of cell phone, with no app required. With the optional 738Z Z-Wave Module, users can also control lights, appliances, door locks, thermostats, and more.
Virtual Keypad App– This downloadable app gives users the ability to control both their security and home control devices via a rich, graphical interface. They can also remotely view video cameras connected to their system. Both MyAccess and the Virtual Keypad provide system dealers with new RMR as value-added features that require a cellular panel connection.
738Z Z-Wave Module– This module, used in with any of the compatible Z-Wave devices, makes it possible for users to add a long list of residential and small commercial building control functions via their smart phone or tablet.
These mobile features can be delivered via either the XT Series™ Burglary/Fire/Door Access Panel or XTL™ Wireless Security System, which will both be available in the booth for demonstration.
XTL™ Wireless Security System– The most compact DMP panel available is packed with the popular security features and functions of a full-size DMP panel. The XTL is a conventional, distributed system, not an easily-disabled, all-in-one system. A typical XTL system can be installed in under two hours, making it the fastest installing distributed panel available.
XT Series™ Burglary/Fire/Door Access Panel - The ideal panel for both residential and small commercial applications, it can be customized to include any or all communication options: Network, Cellular, and Dialer, with a built-in wireless receiver. The network capability and reliability of the XT make it a strong choice for banking applications.

734N Network Wiegand Interface Module - Enables easy upgrading of existing systems to add codeless entry, arming, and disarming using access control readers. The module offers faster door access via 10/100 network capabilities and customizable credential options that enable more flexible applications.
SCS-VR Virtual Receiver- Replace physical receivers with an AES-encrypted, software-only receiver. This DMP exclusive is a UL 1610-classified solution that manages all network IP and cellular IP alarm signals, supervision, and substitution messages without the maintenance, space, or power requirements of a physical receiver.
