One of a Dozen or So DMP Products Introduced at ISC West
Visitors to the DMP booth #23035 at ISC West, April 15-17, can get a first look at a wide variety of soon-to-released, as well as already introduced, DMP technology. That includes the DMP Model 400 USB Flash Module, a new, easy, thumb-sized device for updating panels in the field. The Model 400 is another example of the constant innovation that security system dealers can expect from DMP.
“Time is money when techs are on-site,” said Vice President of Sales, Mark NeSmith. “Anything you can do to help simplify their job lets them can pack more calls into each day. When it comes to updating panels with the latest and greatest features, the DMP Model 400 USB Flash Module is a tremendous time-saver that techs will really appreciate.”
The Model 400 makes it easier than ever to update panels. Technicians can do a field upgrade in minutes, no computer or programming harness required. The module is equipped with a 4-pin header that connects directly to the panel’s programming port. New firmware releases can be downloaded and stored on a USB flash drive, then simply connected to the Model 400 for panel updates. An LED indicator provides feedback of successful updates. The Model 400 is compatible with the CellComSL, XTL, and XT Series DMP panels.
Other new products showcased in this year’s booth include new features for end-users, new tools for dealers, more wireless devices and a focus on panel and video communications.
