One of two MVP awards earned for innovative, new technology
The DMP CellComSL Universal Alarm Communicator has been recognized by Security Sales & Integration (SSI) magazine as the top, new product in its Control Panels, Keypads & User Interfaces category. SSI presented its Most Valuable Products (MVP) award to DMP at the annual SAMMY Awards event which was held Tuesday, April 14 in Las Vegas. CellComSL was selected above other entries by a panel of accomplished industry leaders and SSI editors who judged it to be a superior product based on criteria that included innovation, functionality, competitive advantages, and benefits to integrators and end users.

The primary function of CellComSL is to provide alarm dealers with a way to update existing panels, whether to add cellular capability or upgrade existing cellular capabilities to take advantage of new mobile monitoring and control features. CellComSL provides a fully supervised alarm communication path over the CDMA network, and overcomes the issue of locked panels. Installers simply add the CellComSL unit onto the existing “dialer” installation and, with contact-ID dialer capture, they immediately get full alarm communication directly with DMP receivers. Once installed, users gain not only an updated cellular connection but also access to lifestyle features like remote control of lights, locks, and thermostats, as well as remote viewing of video – all controlled via the DMP Virtual Keypad App or Browser.
