DMP Technology At ISC West Combines Enhanced Communications With New Revenue Streams

Booth 20017

Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) invites security professionals attending ISC West to see the newest advancements in alarm panel hardware and software. New products being shown further expand DMP's leadership position in panel-to-Central Station communication, enabling dealers to offer customers more security options. These communication options also provide dealers with new opportunities for additional revenue from cellular service and monitoring services.

DMP technology available for hands-on demonstration at ISC West 2009 includes:

  • Entré™ Access Control and Alarm Management Software
  • The newest version of the XT Series™ Burglary/Fire/Door Access Panel
  • The latest version of the XR500 Command Processor Panel™
  • New cellular communication options

"Visitors to our booth at ISC West will see how DMP products provide higher levels of security, combined with remarkable ease of operation," said Vice President of Sales, Jeff McAleer. "We provide dealers with opportunities to increase both their system sales and on-going revenue. Take a look at the technology in the DMP booth, and you'll see how we've provided opportunities for both."

Entré Access Control and Alarm Management Software

Entré Access Control and Alarm Management Software for end users combines all related security systems under one common platform with the speed and ease of use of an intuitive graphical user interface. Alarms and devices are represented visually on a facility "map," providing fast, simple, and point-and-click control over every aspect of their security system.

XT Series Burglary/Fire/Door Access Panel

The XT Series of control panels (XT30 and XT50) boasts powerful features with on-board cellular, network and two-way wireless technology all on one platform. Installers have the option to order the panel configuration of their choice. The all-in-one design means no additional enclosures or connections and savings on installation costs. Safeguard your future installations by ensuring you benefit from XT Series technology and all the recurring revenue benefits.

The newest version of the XR100/XR500 Command Processor Panel

The XR100/XR500 has made the transition from dialer/network focused communications to a true network/cellular communications approach. The latest version includes a long list of new features that strengthen security, simplify operation and provide better reporting. Features include:

  • Eight communication paths that can be configured.
  • End users can now receive system alert messages directly from the panel to cell phones or handheld devices.
  • Guest Mode creates up to three unique protected systems (main and two guests [XR500]).
  • Multi-Tenant Functions allows commercial or multi-family residential systems to have alarms and alerts transmitted with the area account number information.

New Cellular Communication Options

More installations are including cellular communications, either for the added security of a connection that can't be physically cut or to protect facilities where phone service or a network connection isn't readily available. Dealers can include fully supervised cellular alarm communication with both XT Series and XR100/XR500 panels, or add cellular later to these systems with DMP Digital Cellular Communicators. Introducing the new CellComRT module that can be installed up to 250 feet from the panel. Users are protected from unexpectedly high cell phone charges with cellular data throttling, a standard DMP panel feature. When cell data traffic exceeds preset limits, the panel automatically suppresses cellular traffic beginning with non-alarm messages.
