Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has named Jim Hawthorne to the position of Director of Sales, East. In his latest role at DMP, he will manage, guide, motivate, and lead the DMP Dealer Development Managers (DDMs) in the East region to ensure they meet or exceed both company objectives and customer expectations.
“When people demonstrate leadership and achieve success, it just makes sense to provide them with greater opportunities,” said Vice President of Sales, Mark NeSmith. “After joining DMP, Jim showed his ability to successfully support both DMP authorized dealers in his region and his DMP peers. I have no doubt he will be equally successful in his new role, and will continue to provide leadership and support that will add value and profitability for the dealers in the East Region."
Prior to his current position, Jim was the Regional Sales Manager for the DMP Southeast sales territory. Jim brings over 20 years of security industry experience to his new, expanded role. Jim attended Portland State University majoring in Business Administration and Computer Science. Prior to joining DMP, Jim was a Regional Sales Manager for a well-known enterprise-wide access-control manufacturer. He has a wealth of knowledge within the industry including access control, intrusion, alarm communications, and sales & marketing experience.
