Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has named Ken Nelson to the position of Dealer Development Manager in the company’s New York City region. He will be responsible for developing new sales and providing ongoing service to DMP-authorized dealers in his region, helping them to grow their businesses.
“Ken has an excellent reputation in our industry,” said Jim Hawthorne, DMP Director of Sales - East. “He is a talented sales leader and brings more than 24 years of security industry experience to our organization. I know he will provide outstanding leadership and support to the members of the DMP authorized dealer network in his region.”
Before coming to DMP, Nelson was the VP of OEM Sales and Security Industry Relations for Interlogix a division of UTC. Prior to that he led the East Region sales team for Interlogix & Lenel. Ken has also been active in the New Jersey Burglar and Fire Alarm Association, serving on the state board and has been an active instructor for the National Training School (NTS).
Ken attended Clemson University where he earned a BS in Chemical Engineering, he also received his MBA from Drexel University. He lives in Medford, NJ with his wife Sheri.
