Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has named Marc Thomas as Dealer Development Manager for their Lower Mississippi Region, which includes Western Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana. He will be responsible for developing new sales and providing on-going service to DMP authorized dealers throughout the region, helping them to grow their businesses.
“Marc comes to us with a strong balance of technical and business skills,” said Director of Sales, West David Rogers. “The knowledge acquired through his business administration education and subsequent practical experiences, combined with his various technical certifications and skills, give him the foundation needed to fulfill his role as a Dealer Development Manager. We are eager for him to begin helping the authorized dealers in his region to elevate the level of service and sales to their customers.”
Before joining DMP, Marc demonstrated his management abilities both as a District Manager for GE Security/Interlogix and as a District Sales Manager for CenturyTel Security (now part of CenturyLink). He graduated from Hamilton University (Evanston, WY) with a Bachelor of Science in business administration.
On the technical side, he holds a fire systems certificate from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET). He also earned certifications for the GE Alliance integrated security/access control/video solution and for the Facility Commander for Windows FCWnx security integration platform. He acquired additional technical skills related to both CCTV systems and networks.
