263LTE FirstNet Ready Cellular Communicator
Working hand-in-hand with partner carriers, SecureCom Wireless uses DMP's LTE cellular communicators to transmit data from the panel or devices directly to the DMP monitoring center receiver without first going through a network operations center (NOC). In the event of an emergency, this means your customers get faster response.
Approved for use on the FirstNet mobile broadband public-safety network. This gives alarm companies the advantage of using the network's nationwide, high-quality spectrum set aside by the federal government for the transmission of public safety related alarms.
The 263LTE-FN provides wireless commuication for DMP XR Series panels and is approved for use on FirstNet, which is built with AT&T in a public-private partnership with the First Responder Network Authority. With DMP's FirstNet Ready communicator, alarm companies have the advantage of using Band 14 - the nationwide, high-quality spectrum set aside by the federal government specifically for FirstNet. Alarm service companies qualify to use the FirstNet network by first obtaining a TMA Certificate of Verification that verifies they are in compliance with accepted Alarm Industry Standards. In addition to the TMA certification, alarm service providers must enter into a FirstNet Agreement with AT&T before they can offer FirstNet Ready alarm panels with FirstNet service.
Note: If using the 263LTE-FIRSTNET with the XR150/XR550 Series, a model 381 cable is required for connection from the cell module SMA connector to the panel enclosure knockout.
