1112 Water and Temperature Detector
This low-profile device is easy to install and can be programmed with up to three zones. It's perfect for detecting water leaks or temperature changes in commercial and residential applications.
The 1112 sends an alert after detecting water for one minute. It also alerts if the temperature drops below 45ºF or above 95ºF for more than ten minutes. Includes two 3 V CR2450 Coin Cell batteries.

Version 201 Update | July 15, 2025
Previously, 1112 devices with serial numbers from 8184182 to 8193887 occasionally reported low battery conditions at 2.5 V. Now, the 1112 correctly reports low battery conditions at 2.1 V.
A limited number of 1112 devices were shipped with an earlier firmware version, despite the product label indicating the latest firmware. In some cases, the earlier firmware may result in premature low-battery notifications.
All units in current inventory have been updated, and current shipments include the correct firmware version.
Obtaining the New Firmware
1112 Wireless Water and Temperature Detectors with Version 201 (7/15/25) firmware can be ordered by contacting DMP Customer Service at 1-866-266-2826 or visiting buy.dmp.com.
If a low-battery notification is received from an 1112 device that was purchased prior to January 9, 2026, units can be shipped to our repair department to receive a firmware update. Contact DMP Technical Support at 888-436-7832 for any questions.
When we received our first shipment of water detectors, I installed them in my own home to test them out. The device operated exactly as designed and prevented a much larger issue.
