DMP is pleased to announce its integration with Digital Watchdog, the industry leader in digital recorders, surveillance cameras, and related management software. This partnership gives DMP a high-performance surveillance solution with crystal-clear 2.1 megapixel 1080 resolution images at 10fps.

Built on the high-quality imaging, resolution and video processing functions found in Digital Watchdog’s professional grade MEGApix camera line, its DMP series provides clients significant enhancements in video verification. High-definition video is sent with every alarm notification to a central monitoring station. As a result, operators can view the footage right away and determine whether the alarm is valid and worthy of dispatch.
At the same time, during an alarm situation, video verification immediately delivers video from the premises to the system owner via their Virtual Keypad™ app, enabling instant visual assessment of the situation for the appropriate response. As a result, they can ensure police and/or fire departments are dispatched to a "real" alarm, plus they can prevent being assessed heavy fines for false alarms.
"When there is an alarm, customers need the necessary information to make the right decisions immediately,” Tucker adds. “This integration allows us to provide these functions for dealers who use the Digital Watchdog cameras, as well as using those cameras in our Virtual Keypad app for viewing live and recorded video.”
The current integration series includes the 2.1MP DWC-MB721M4TIRDMP bullet camera with 4.0mm fixed lens as well as the 2.1MP DWC-MF21M4TIRDMP vandal dome with 4.0mm fixed lens. MEGApix IP cameras deliver crystal-clear 2.1 megapixel 1080p resolution images at real-time 30fps. Features include Smart IR™, True Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and 3D DNR for quality video in challenging lighting environments. PoE simplifies installation.
Camera availability is expected around mid-June and may be purchased from your current Digital Watchdog distributor.
