DMP will be moving all product labels to the internationally accepted UPC barcode standard. This transition will begin September 2017.
Currently DMP products are labeled with Code 39 — a variable length, discrete barcode system. The Universal Product Code (UPC) barcode system is more widely used in the United States, Canada, and European countries. Our hope is to be more accommodating and make the product barcodes usable for your inventory control needs.
The DMP Tech APP will transition to the new barcode system automatically. If you use a barcoding system for your inventory control system and you have questions about transitioning to the new barcode standard, please contact us for further information.
