The DMP ASIS 2011 show booth #2651 will feature a range of newly available mobile platforms that will help end users stay connected with their systems and their monitoring station no matter where they happen to be.

These apps and software extend the value and convenience delivered by DMP alarm panels. Other software solutions available for demonstration at ASIS include the SCS-VR Virtual Receiver and Entré™ Access & Security Management System Software.

“People are embracing the ability to stay more connected using their cell phones and mobile devices,” said Executive Director of Marketing, Mark Hillenburg. “This year at ASIS, DMP is showing off many examples of new mobile technology that helps people connect and interact with their security system. These technologies provide new ways for dealers and monitoring companies to build connections with the customers.”

Some of the items featured by DMP at ASIS will include:

  • MyAccess™ – These features let users remotely manage their residential or commercial alarm system via text message on any type of cell phone, quickly with no app required. MyAccess is a popular feature with end users that can build revenue for dealers.
  • Virtual Keypad™ App - End users can download this app to their iPhone to give them a portable keypad for their security system. The Virtual Keypad allows them to arm or disarm (Home/Sleep/Away or All/Perimeter) and check the status of their DMP security system from anywhere they have cell service. Dealers can also brand the App with their logo.
  • DMP API Web Service – This software acts as a connection between dealers and their customers. It is a cloud-based API that provides the ability for dealers to develop a branded App customized specifically to meet their company needs.
  • SCS-VR Virtual Receiver - Central Stations now have the option of replacing physical receivers with an AES-encrypted, software-only receiver ― a DMP exclusive. UL 1610 Central Station is in addition to UL 1076 Proprietary Listing and NIST validation. The Virtual Receiver manages all network IP and cellular IP alarm signals, supervision, and substitution messages without the maintenance, space, or power requirements of a physical receiver.
