With the latest upgrade to the DMP Virtual Keypad app, users gain expanded capabilities when using their app. The following features have been added: User Code Prompt, Push Notifications and History Tab. The User Code Prompt is required to open the app, unless it is saved. Enabling Push Notifications allows alarm events such as Alarms, Troubles, Arming/Disarming and Sensor Activity to appear on the users iPhone or iPad, whether via an alert or banner.
“Version 3.4.0 is a major enhancement to the Virtual Keypad in terms of security and notifications,” said Vice President of Sales, Mark NeSmith. “With this upgrade, DMP is bringing the level of convenience up to what app users expect. They can rest assured their app is protected with a user code, and that they are receiving all security event notifications in real-time. They can also check their history tab to ensure no notifications were missed".
The Virtual Keypad App already allows users to remotely control lights, thermostats, door locks, appliances, cameras, and more via an attractive and easy-to-use touch screen interface along with standard features such as arming/disarming, checking status, area arming and output control. Not to mention, branding capabilities for dealers to insert their logo into the app software.
The app is compatible with new and existing DMP XTL™ Wireless Security System, the XT30/XT50™ and XR150/XR350/XR550 NET and CELL connected Panels. The latest version of the DMP Virtual Keypad App for iPhones and iPads® is available for download at the Apple® App Store and is compatible with the following panel versions:
- XR150/XR350/XR550 panels with Version 103 (10/18/13) or higher software
- XT30/XT50/XTL Series panels with version 116 (10/15/13) or higher software
