John Haspel To Serve As DMP Director of Sales Engineering
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — DMP has announced John Haspel will step into the role of Director of Sales Engineering. With more than 30 years of experience in physical security, Haspel joins DMP with extensive knowledge of the company’s products, engineering group and dealer channel.
Haspel spent ten years as an alarm technician before leading sales engineering and technical services at Verint (Loronix) and Cisco Systems. He built the advisory sales engineering team at Next Level Security Systems, led product management and global training at Avigilon and held program leadership roles at Oncam and Integrated Security Technologies. Haspel recently served as Vice President of Operations & Product at Soterix Systems and has worked with DMP on its XV Plus Gateways since 2025.
"The convergence of video, access control and intrusion is a challenge in the industry right now,” said Haspel. “DMP has spent over 50 years in intrusion, access control, fire and alarm monitoring, and now provides a full VMS platform. This is a great foundation for building a unified platform, and I’m excited to be part of it."
