Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has hired Mark Barber as their new Great Lakes Regional Sales Manager. Mark will be responsible for developing new sales and providing on-going service to the DMP authorized dealers in his region, which includes Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.
"With his more than 22 years of experience in the security industry, we are very excited to have Mark join our team" said Vice President of Sales, Jeff McAleer. "I am confident that Mark will quickly begin to build stronger relationships with our existing customers, and uncover many new business opportunities in this important region."
Mark was most recently with a home automation security company, where he was the Vice President of Builder Relations and Sales Manager. He also has security system-related experience as a Systems Sales Representative for SimplexGrinnell. While there, he also instructed SimplexGrinnell fire alarm design and installation classes for electrical contractors.
He is currently pursuing Fire Alarm Certification by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), and has been licensed as a State of Michigan Security Contractor for 15 years.
Mark was born in Pontiac, Michigan. He is married with three children.
