DMP introduces camera drivers to expand video services
Two new camera drivers from DMP empower end users with innovative DMP technology and features. Dealers who have standardized on Axis cameras and DMP control panels can now bring AlarmVision® and Virtual Keypad™ features directly to their customers — without adding or replacing any hardware.

The new AlarmVision Driver connects Axis cameras with DMP alarm panels, turning cameras into intelligent motion detectors. This places AlarmVision technology at the edge, eliminating the need for additional hardware. It uses the on-camera analytics or motion detection capabilities to identify events.
AlarmVision connects cameras, analytics and alarm panels to create intelligent motion detectors that identify actual threats in real time. This technology virtually eliminates false alarms and costly fines. This driver communicates locally to the control panel, which is ideal in settings where cloud connection is not approved, such as financial institutions.
Security Without Silos
The new Virtual Keypad Driver enables an Axis camera to become a fully featured DMP cloud camera. It leverages existing cameras to provide end users with abilities like viewing live video, playing back events and receiving push notifications. Dealers can integrate video with intrusion and access control features all in one app.
These drivers can function separately or be used together for a premium experience.
