Convenience, efficiency and security – with this update, Virtual Keypad adds more of all three. At a glance, users will now only see the doors and areas included in their profiles. This simplifies using Virtual Keypad, and it adds security by controlling who can view information about restricted doors and areas, such as armed status.
What does this mean to you?
Now, business owners can easily give their employees the access they need and allow them to use Virtual Keypad for convenience, knowing they’ll only see the information that’s relevant to them. Plus, there are no extra steps to make this work! It’s pulled automatically from the users’ profiles.
Sensor Reset (End Lockdown)
With this release, Virtual Keypad also adds a new Sensor Reset button, which is displayed on the Settings page for users with profiles that have both Sensor Reset and Lockdown Override enabled. When a lockdown is in progress, this button allows those users to end the lockdown and restore the system by performing a sensor reset.
