Fire Alarm Output Sensor Reset

Previously, Supervisory zones were incorrectly included with Fire and Fire Verify zones when determining whether all fire zones had restored to normal during a Sensor Reset. As a result, a Supervisory zone that remained in alarm could prevent the Sensor Reset from turning off the fire alarm output and clearing the keypads, even when all Fire and Fire Verify zones had restored.

Now, only Fire and Fire Verify zones are included when determining whether all fire zones have restored to normal. Once all Fire and Fire Verify zones that were in alarm have restored, performing a Sensor Reset turns off the fire alarm output and clears the keypads, regardless of the state of any Supervisory zones.

Zone Alarm Reports

Previously, for All/Perimeter and Home/Sleep/Away systems, when a tripped zone triggered the Entry Delay, any additional tripped zones were only reported if they were in the same area as the zone that triggered the Entry Delay. If tripped zones occurred in different areas, only the zone that initiated the Entry Delay was reported. Now, at the end of the Entry Delay, all tripped zones are reported, regardless of which area they are in. This matches the current reporting operation of XT30/XT50 panels.

Shortcut Arming Commands

Previously, when using shortcut arming commands, Home/Sleep/Away systems could occasionally arm without validation. Now, panels are correctly armed when using shortcut arming commands.

Previously, remotely programming Device Setup could cause zones connected to the keypad bus to stop correctly changing states, which prevented those zones from being reported. This could occur when zones were programmed before setting the House Code to 0, followed by remotely programming Device Setup. Onboard zones were not affected.

Now, remotely programming Device Setup no longer affects the operation or reporting of zones connected to the keypad bus.

Note: Firmware for international panel use only

Version 755 | January 21, 2026

Panel Serial Number in Serial 3 Messages

Enable Serial 3 messages to include the panel serial number. If enabled, the panel family and corresponding serial number appear at the end of each Serial 3 message, allowing the monitoring center to identify the correct system if two panels unintentionally use the same account numbers.

This update requires an SCS-VR Virtual Receiver.

Zone Location

This update allows you to assign zones an optional secondary name to give further clarification on the location of a zone. Zone Location provides the monitoring center additional support and promotes quicker response times from monitoring center operators and first responders. The secondary name is only visible to the monitoring center and does not display on the keypad.

OSDP Support

This update allows XR Series Control Panels to receive and send OSDP commands to 734INT Access Control Modules with firmware Version 108.

New reader LED actions can be configured in Entré Version 9.8.2 (9/4/25) or in Dealer Admin.

Door Schedules

This update allows Door Schedules to operate correctly when only a start time or only an end time is entered.

Multi-Swipe Custom Actions

Multi-swipe options have been added to Custom Actions in Virtual Keypad and are now supported on XR Series Control Panels. Custom swipe actions can be enabled to allow users to Swipe Twice or Swipe Three Times to arm one area or a group of areas, unlock a door or a group of doors, initiate a Lockdown, or activate Favorites, Lights, and Outputs.

Bell Circuit

This update improves bell circuit monitoring to confirm the panel bell is only active during alarm conditions.

Usability Improvements

Z-Wave Improvements

This update allows the 738Z+ to return to its default state for quicker adding, editing, and deleting of Z-Wave devices and actions.

Public Access Doors

Previously, when a public access door was toggled unlocked by an output group, it was not included in the lockdown, even when marked as a public door. Now, public access doors are included in the lockdown regardless of if it is part of an output group.

Improved Communication

Systems communicating with Dealer Admin send messages regardless if they have a communication path programmed, allowing for push notifications and analytics in Dealer Admin and Virtual Keypad.

Exit Delay Restart

Previously, the Exit Delay restart feature was enabled when Occupied Premises was set to YES and disabled when Occupied Premises was set to NO. Now, Exit Delay restart is always enabled.

Chime Improvements

This update improves the panel chime to properly sound when triggered.

New Update Manager

Previously, the 8860 required a user to stay on the same screen when downloading a new update. Now, the 8860 downloads the update in the background and notifies the user when the new version is ready to be installed.

Complete the following steps to update an 8860:

  1. Select Options from the Carousel Menu.
  2. Select Installer Options, then enter 3577 (INST), and press CMD.
  3. Select Check for Updates.
  4. A dialog box appears which indicates if a new firmware version is available for download. Select Download.
  5. The firmware begins downloading in the background. You can return to the home screen and complete other tasks while this takes place.
  6. A notification appears when the download is complete. The installation begins automatically after 15 seconds of no interaction.
    • Select Now to immediately install the new firmware.
    • Select Later to temporarily dismiss the notification. The notification comes back after 15 minutes.
  7. A prompt appears after the installation is complete, indicating a successful update.

Arming Screen Correction

In some cases, an 8860 associated with a panel that has Closing Code turned off would briefly display Select Areas to Disarm after selecting Arm, before correcting to Select Areas to Arm. This has been resolved and Select Areas to Arm displays when a user selects Arm.

XTL Connection

Some users experienced communication issues between an XTL panel and an 8860 when System Status and Device Name messages were sent in reverse order. This no longer occurs, and the 8860 and XTL communicate as intended.

This firmware update is available on Dealer Admin (dealer.securecomwireless.com).

Effective April 30th, 2020, CellCom/iCOM Series Communicators updated Version 194 (4/30/20) firmware is available for download.

Communication Enhancement

When updating a CellCom or iCOM Series Communicator that was Version 182 or lower and using Dealer Admin to program the unit, the communicator would send unnecessary information in communication programming. Dealer Admin would display an error when trying to send programming to these communicators. Updated Version 194 (4/30/20) resolves this issue.

After updating the communicator to Version 194 (4/30/20), it is recommended to retrieve the programming from the communicator using Dealer Admin in order for the error to be resolved.

If you have a CellCom or iCom that is Version 183 or higher, this is not an issue.

Version 9.8.8 | August 14, 2026

New Features

OSDP LED Color States

Users can now customize Unlocked, Locked Armed, and Locked Disarmed LED color states on OSDP readers. Default states have been updated to green for Unlocked, red for Locked Armed, and red for Locked Disarmed to align with standard keypad and Remote Link configurations.

Admin Client Progress Tracker

The Admin Client now displays a real-time progress bar and percentage completion log during database encryption and decryption routines.

File Drop

An in-app file drop feature has been added for Key Fob and Panel CSV Imports in Automation Rules. This allows direct file uploads without requiring mapped network locations on the application server.

Improvements

734 Options Tab Relocation

General 734 options have been moved from individual reader detail pages to the dedicated 734 Options tab to allow for easier navigation and setup.

Analytics Integration

The 9091 Analytics Page now integrates directly into the main Entré UI, so a separate connection to port 9091 on the application server is no longer required.

Card Format Display

Card Format Names now display in the Card Format management screens, including Edit Panel and View Panel Programming

CSV Import for Profile Assignments

This update improves CSV import workflows for Badges and Personnel to streamline assigning multiple profiles to badge records.

A new optional Profile Action column has been added to Personnel CSV imports. This allows row-level control over badge-to-profile assignments. The following options are now supported:

  • A” adds the profile to the badge.
  • D” removes the profile from the badge.
  • blank preserves the existing overwrite behavior.
  • Invalid values are skipped and logged as errors.

Apache Tomcat Startup Check

An automated check has been added during the Apache Tomcat server startup to ensure required temp directories exist and file-write exceptions are prevented.

Internal Cache Mechanisms

This update removes legacy, manually-created caching mechanisms to improve application architecture and memory utilization.

Device and Panel Removal

Device and panel removal routines have been improved so that hibernate filters now remove associated device commands and records without false SQL lock conflicts.

Cell Module Management

This update adds centralized management for cellular modules, which allows users to activate, deactivate, and transfer modules across panels from a single location.

Fixes

Database Upgrade Sequence

Previously, an order-of-operations issues caused database encryption to attempt before panel import tables were created. This issue has now been resolved.

OSDP Parameter Selection

Previously, selecting parameters for OSDP commands, such as Prox On/Off and Send OSDP Configuration, in Automation Rules or Quick Launch with Multiple or Variable filters could cause a system error. Now, selecting parameters for OSDP commands works correctly.

Web Client Alarm Crash

Previously, the web client crashed when selecting the alarm indicator light. The indicator now correctly opens the Alarms module.

Profile Search Error

Previously, searching for profiles in the Badge Editor could fail when unclosed database sessions exhausted the connection pool. Now, profile searches complete successfully across all selection sizes.

Bulk OSDP Commands Quick Launch

Previously, sending bulk OSDP commands from Quick Launch could cause the client to freeze. This issue has now been resolved.

Schedule Date Mapping

An issue where schedule end dates and reader protocols in View Panel Programming incorrectly displayed as “unknown” has been fixed. Additionally, the mapping logic for temporary schedules sent to panels has been corrected.

Zone Number Programming

Previously, editing a zone number left the original zone active on the panel. Now, updating a zone number removes the previous zone from panel programming.

Personnel Record Deletion

Previously, a foreign key error blocked the ability to delete personnel records after batch badge printing. Now, personnel records linked to batch print logs can now be deleted as expected.

Keypad Bus Encryption Checkbox

Previously, switching device types when creating a door could prevent the encryption checkbox from displaying when the device numbers exceeded 17. This issue has now been resolved.
