We’ve upgraded the way we deliver Entré certification training.

Our certification, previously offered through scheduled Zoom classes, is now available as a self-paced course in our Learning Management System (LMS) — accessible anytime, on demand. This means no waiting for a virtual class to be scheduled. Technicians and software users can begin certification when they’re ready, and revisit or repeat the course as often as needed.

To help learning stick, eight short follow-up micro-learning nuggets will be assigned after course completion to reinforce key concepts and boost long-term retention.

Prerequisites

Prior to the purchase of the Entré Software each dealer should meet the following qualifications:

Sign the Entré Dealer Agreement and send to the training contact listed at the bottom of the page.
Have had prior exposure to the XR550 or access control in general.
Have two or more technicians complete the Entré Online Certification course on DMP University.
Each technician is required to be re-certified on a yearly basis (12 months from their initial certification date).

To increase the likelihood of earning Entré Certification, each student should possess the following knowledge and skills prior to taking the Entré Online Certification course:

Successful completion of a DMP XR550 training class and installation/programing experience on a minimum of three XR550 panels.
Skills in configuration and use of all Microsoft Supported SQL Operating Systems.
Basic network topology and protocol skills.
Basic understanding of database concepts.

Completing the course and passing the exams are the requirements for earning Entré Certification. Annual Recertification is required to maintain Entre Certification.

Entré Re-Certification

Entré Access & Security Management Software Certification is valid for one year. Entré Certification must be renewed every year to maintain active Entré status.

Recertification is achieved by completing the Entré Online Certification course on DMP University.
