The integration of Control4 with DMP’s XR150/XR550 Panel creates a customized security system with powerful home automation technology.
Las Vegas, NV, April 6th, 2016: DMP announced today at the ISC West conference that its XR150/XR550 security panel is now supported by smart-technology provider, Control4. The Control4 driver detects the DMP XR150/XR550 panel with Simple Device Discovery Protocol (SDDP) software. SDDP makes the integration seamless, easy to detect and inexpensive. With the XR150/XR550 panel detected, “automation ready” technology can be customized until personal choices are easily met. A security system that works with a home automation system cuts corners and costs, for dealers and consumers.
The driver works with Composer version 2.8 or greater. A Composer setup allows for an easy integration of the DMP Security Panel driver into a Control4 system. The correct driver is automatically detected and then installed into the project.
DMP dealers requested a more customizable experience. The broad features within Composer allow dealers to gain more custom control and be ready for the expanding home and commercial automation market. The security system can now work broadly with a number of ambient applications.
