DMP Introduces VAULT™, Secure, Encrypted Connectivity for Cloud-Based Security Applications

Springfield, Mo. — Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) announces Virtual Access Using Layered Tunneling (VAULT), a secure communication platform that allows dealers and enterprise customers to use DMP cloud applications while keeping their security systems off the public internet.
With VAULT, organizations can take advantage of DMP’s Virtual Keypad™ and Dealer Admin™ without exposing systems directly to the public internet. The platform creates a private, encrypted tunnel between a customer’s corporate network and the SecureCom® Wireless infrastructure, allowing systems to communicate with DMP cloud services through a controlled and isolated connection.
For banks, financial institutions, government agencies and other organizations handling sensitive information, maintaining strict network boundaries is essential. VAULT provides the convenience of cloud-based system management while maintaining controlled network boundaries.
VAULT operates as a point-to-point Virtual Private Network (VPN) that secures IP communications using government-grade authentication and encryption. The platform supports established encryption standards including Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA), while Internet Key Exchange (IKEv2) authenticates both endpoints and establishes the encrypted tunnel.

DMP provides customers with a preconfigured VAULT appliance that streamlines deployment and integration. If a threat, breach or policy violation is detected, administrators can immediately terminate the VPN tunnel, isolating affected systems and preventing further access.
