Triple EOL Support

Version 742 supports a modification to the current zone EOL programming option in Zone Programming. Available EOL programming options have been updated to Single, Dual, and Triple.

Five-Digit Default User Code

The panel has been updated to have a random 5-digit default user code that has been generated with an encrypted algorithim. If Grade 3 is enabled, then the user will only be able to add a code with 5 digits or more.

Updated Zone Types

Version 742 includes 2 new zone types in Zone Options. Refer to the XR INT Series Programming Guide (LT‑1232INT) for more information.

  • Tamper Zone: Used to identify zones that are being used for enclosure tamper switches.
  • Final Exit Zone: Used to identify a zone that must be tripped before the system will arm.

PIN Disarm Update

Version 742 includes the new PIN Disarm? option in Device Setup. If you select NO at PIN Disarm? and Grade 3 is enabled, then a user is not allowed to manually type in their PIN code to disarm when they have entered the facility. Instead, an access credential, wireless key fob, or remote disarm can disarm the system.

Intruder Confirmation Time Update

If a system is armed and has Intruder Confirmation Time enabled in System Options and two zones trip within the specified time frame, then it is a verified alarm and authorities will respond. Intruder confirmation times can be a value from 30-60 minutes, but are defaulted to 0.

Hold Up Confirmation Time Update

If a system has Hold Up Confirmation Time enabled in System Options and two panic zones trip within the specified time frame, then it is a verified alarm and authorities will respond. Hold up confirmation times can be a value from 8-20 hours, but are defaulted to 0.

These improvements include better CATM1 network handling by ignoring the NBIOT category and by resetting communications if the cellular communications detect any connection errors.

XR INT to XR INT Communication

Allows multiple XR INT Series panels within a single site to operate cohesively. This will allow XR INT systems to communicate with each other over the selected network as well as simultaneously arm and disarm areas on multiple XR INT Series panels. Users can also initiate a fire exit and lockdown across all connected XR INT Series panels. For more information, refer to the Panel to Panel Communication Helpfile.

OSDP Tamper Message Support

If there is an OSDP reader connected to an XR INT system and a tamper occurs at the reader, a tamper message will be sent to the Monitoring Center.

Default Closing Code Update

XR150INT/XR550INT Series panels that are set up as an Area System will now have the Closing Code option defaulted to YES.

Updated Version 721 (5/5/23) resolves an issue where some customers had issues connecting to international panels with the app.

Updated Version 721 (4/19/23) resolves an issue where the “No Authority” message would appear when disarming an All/Perimeter system by using the shield.

Updated Version 721 (4/19/23) resolves an issue where the user disarms a system early and the panel rearms in 28 minutes instead of 540 minutes.

Updated Version 721 (4/19/23) resolves an issue where if the user presses the exit shield during an entry delay, the panel will not respond to anything entered on the keypad for 90 seconds.

734 Custom Card Formats Improvement

Updated Version 713 (3/24/22) firmware resolves an issue where 734 Access Control Modules connected via the panel keypad bus would not correctly receive Custom Card Formats. 734 Access Control Modules that are programmed onto the AX-Bus are not affected by this issue.

Improved User Code Change Reporting

With updated Version 713 (2/11/22) firmware, any time a user code is added or changed, encrypted user code information is sent to the Monitoring Center receiver. This can be done from Dealer Admin, the Virtual Keypad App, and from the keypad.

Zone Expansion Module Programming

Version 713 supports future changes to addressing zone expansion modules. Future modules can be programmed into the panel via a 10-digit serial number instead of rotary switches. A new Expander Serial Number prompt has been added in Zone Information to allow a serial number to be entered for addressing.

Improved Central Station Test Failure Procedure

With Version 713, the panel will send the user a notification in a future version of Dealer Admin if the chosen communication path has failed to test with the central station. This will allow users to run reports and to run a communication test to verify whether that path is down.

DHCP Enhancement

XR Version 713 allows for the panel to be set to DHCP, but will still be able to program the specific DNS the panel should use. This helps to overcome any DNS that are not resolving as they should. This also allows a specific IP address to be programmed for DNS resolution troubleshooting.

Wireless Key Fob Improvement

XR Version 713 ensures that 1144 Series Key Fobs do not allow arming or disarming when the associated user code is set to inactive.

Wireless Tamper Report Improvement

Previously, if a wireless receiver tamper was activated, all of the wireless zones would be set to open. This would cause the panel to send trouble messages to the central station for every zone that reported to the receiver. With Version 713, if the tamper is activated, the panel will only send a supervised trouble message.

Improved Wireless Test Operation

With XT INT Version 712, the Wireless Walk Test has been renamed the Wireless Test. This test has been improved to provide better testing of the transmitters. The test will now run for a total of 5 minutes. During the 5 minutes the transmitters are being tested multiple times. In order for a transmitter to pass it must have checked in 3 or more times. A timer will be displayed at the keypad to indicate that the test is in progress. At the end of the 5 minutes the results will display which transmitters have failed the test.

Arm Activity Days Update

Previously, Arm Activity Day reports were only able to be sent via Net, Wi-Fi, and Dialer communication paths. With XT Version 712, reports are able to be sent via cellular communication as well.

Remote Initiation Identification

Push notifications now include an identifier that shows when an event has been initiated remotely. For example, if a user arms the panel from the Virtual Keypad™ app, the notification will say that the system has been armed remotely.

Bad Zone State Enhancement

Previously, the XR INT Series panel processed a single bad zone state as an alarm or trouble message. With updated Version 711 (2/9/21) firmware, the panel requires three bad zone states before processing an alarm or trouble message.

Improved Communications Failover

Previously on panels with Network or Wi-Fi primary and Cell backup, the panel would attempt to connect over network or Wi-Fi three times before failing over to Cell backup. With XR Series Version 711, panels will no longer attempt three times and will automatically fail over to Cell backup if no Network or Wi-Fi link is detected.

Improved Trouble Audibles Programming

With Version 711, the Wireless Audible setting in System Options has been renamed to Trouble Audible. All system trouble audibles now follow this setting. Zone troubles do not follow this setting.

Dual Authority Support on AX-Bus

Version 711 firmware provides the ability to enable Dual Authority on doors programmed on the AX-Bus.

Tamper Condition Enhancements

With Version 711 firmware, a Tamper message will remain on the Status List after the system is disarmed. Only Level 3 users are able to clear tamper conditions via sensor reset on Home/Sleep/Away systems.

Tamper CID Messages

Previously, the panel sometimes transmitted an incorrect CID message when the zone reported a tamper message on Night, Day, Exit, and Instant zones. This issue is resolved by this date code release.

Bypass CID Messages

Updated Version 702 firmware now sends correct CID messages for Bypass on Night, Day, Exit, and Instant zones types.

Previous message examples appeared as:

  • Night Zone - Restore - 3 370 (Protection Loop)
  • Instant Zone - Restore - 1 110 (Fire Alarm)

Updated Version 702 message examples appear as:

  • Night Zone - Restore - 3 570
  • Instant Zone - Restore - 3 570

Removed Tamper Option

Updated Version 702 has removed the tamper option for Arming Zone types.

S84 Integrator Connection Message Reduction

In previous firmware versions, the panel would send an s84 message to the central station every time a command was received when using the Integrator Connection. XR150INT/XR550INT Series panels with firmware Version 702 (7/2/20) and higher that use the Integrator Connection will no longer send s84 (Remote command received) messages to the central station. For more information about system messages, refer to SCS-VR Reference Guide: Panel Messages (LT-1959).

Instant Zone CID Messages

When using CID with Instant zones, the panel sometimes transmitted an incorrect CID message when the zone transmitted a trouble, alarm, or restoral. This issue is resolved by this datecode release.

Tamper Restoral

In previous firmware versions, a Technician user code was not required to perform a sensor reset and restore the tamper after an XR550INT (Grade 3) panel sent a tamper trouble. Tamper restorals can now only be performed by Technician users who also have Sensor Reset enabled in their profile.

Push Message Timestamps

When performing some system tests and maintenance tasks, push messages would transmit the timestamp of the most recent event instead of the actual time. Push messages now transmit the timestamp for each event according to their occurrence in real time.

Arming/Disarming Bell

In previous firmware versions, the default behavior for all XR150INT/XR550INT Series panels was to sound a bell when an Arming type (AR) zone was armed or disarmed. Now, the default behavior is to not sound a bell when an AR zone is armed or disarmed for all XR150INT/XR550INT Series panels except for models distributed to South Africa.

Enhanced User Code Security

With Version 711 firmware, a keypad tamper message will be generated and sent to the central station as a result of three invalid code attempts. When an authorized user performs a sensor reset from the user menu, the tamper message is cleared from the status list and a restore report is sent to the central station. If a sensor reset is performed via the shortcut key, the tamper is not restored and a message is not sent to the central station.

Door Device Type

Previously, when a door type device was attached to an XT International Series panel, it could not be viewed or controlled from the Virtual Keypad App. Version 702 has added a new Door Device Type in Device Setup. If DOOR is selected, the device is displayed and is able to be controlled in the Virtual Keypad App. This includes 734INT Access Control Modules. The Door Device Type is available on addresses 2-8 of XT International Series panels.

The PIR needs to be tripped in order to test properly. The PIR LED with flash each time motion is detected for up to 30 minutes.

Easy Wi-Fi Password Programming

If the panel detects that the Wi-Fi password is incorrect, the keypad will display a message telling the user that they need to change the password. The keypad then walks the user through the steps for changing the password.

Improved Weather Accuracy

When the panel receives a weather update, it will compare the postal/country code in the weather string against the postal/country code it has in programming. If the codes match, the panel will update the weather. If the codes do not match, the panel will ignore the weather string. This ensures the panel is always providing the user with accurate weather information.
