Now, with any DMP panel you’re installing, Dealer Admin streamlines your pre-programming capabilities by allowing you to use programming templates. For accounts with multiple systems that have the same programming, this means you no longer have to start from scratch and re-enter that information with each system — now you have the benefit of using pre-programming and the convenience of templates to speed up the whole programming process.
These programming templates can be used for all DMP XR Series and XT Series panels, as well as universal communicators. Once you’ve created a programming template, you can continue to use that template to apply the exact same programming options to other panels — this is particularly helpful for multi-location accounts.
Combined with last month’s Auto Programming enhancement, Dealer Admin is making system programming easier and faster than ever. As soon as the panel comes online, the DMP servers find the pre-programmed information for that specific security system and automatically transmit all programming options directly to the system. From start to finish, this process is completed within minutes.
New Quick Report: Auto Programming Errors
Templates for pre-programming give you the opportunity to reduce time at the job site and reduce the potential for human error. Now you can also pull Auto Programming Error reports from Dealer Admin’s Quick Report section.
