Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has promoted Doug Rieman to the position of Director of Market Development, Financial Solutions, Eastern US. In his new role, Doug will support DMP dealers who serve financial institution customers, while also driving business to the dealers by raising awareness in the financial services market of DMP products and services.
"Doug has a remarkable breadth of experience in the security industry," said Vice President of Sales, Jeff McAleer. "Over the last 16 years, he's developed not only a deep understanding of the technical side of the security business, but also a great respect for the responsibility we have to protect our customers and their assets. That's a trait that will be especially valuable as he supports dealers and customers in the financial institution market."
Doug has progressed through positions in almost every area of the security industry. Beginning with a position in a central station, he has served as an installer, technician, and worked in sales, all with a Midwest-based dealer. He gained manufacturing experience with a Fortune 500 company, and spent the past three years at DMP serving as Regional Sales Manager for the South Central Region.
Doug was born in Kansas City, KS, and attended the University of Kansas. He lives in Berryton, KS, with his wife. They have three children.
